A decent season then go all in for next season

Pessimism or realism?

Where’s this conveyor belt of players that will give us all that money? Apart from Eze, player sales over the last ten years has hardly been great.

Don’t want to be a killjoy but just can’t see it happening. We are so hampered by FFP (presumably still paying off the fine?) and a small stadium we just can’t generate enough income to compete at the top level against the likes of anyone with 25k+ gates, those on PL parachute payments etc.

I still think we’re very lightweight squad wise. Everyone fit and firing and we see what we can do. Start getting injuries and suspensions and it nosedives quickly.

If we did that some will say we should have taken the opportunity to get a last minute winner.

Coventry didn't faff around with theirs.

Decisions (inc. team selection, formation, subs etc) are only the right decision if something positive is gained with the result. Anything else is deemed wrong.

Out of curiosity, why do players think that time wasting achieves anything. The ref just adds the time on anyway. As the away team at 0-0 surely just get to the final whistle ASAP (yes, of course, winning is ideal but sometimes you have to be pragmatic to avoid exactly what ended up happening).

Win as a team, lose as a team.

Throughout the course of a game there could be a number of situations i.e. Frey's miss, that all contribute to the final result. It's rarely down to one person/incident (** cough, Richard Keogh, cough **)

Manure v Leicester

After many minutes of deliberation Man City’ first goal v Real Madrid was given by VAR despite being so obviously offside.

It really is a broke system simply because it relies on human beings. What’s the point, just have the ref/lino’s decide if VAR can’t do any better.

Maybe coaches don’t want to publicly acknowledge their team may be weak in certain situations to other team’s Managers

Jury's are a dozen people who have no idea about law*... I should know, I've been a juror!

As we have a jury-led system the judge has to abide by it. I'm sure over the years they've been frustrated with verdicts given, whether guilty or not guilty.

In the, quite serious, case I was on the judge made it clear that he will abide by our decision. After five days of the case, when the verdict was given he didn't give any reaction, just made notes and ended the case.

*except the ones who are lawyers but that's probably 0.001% over the course of the year.

I think it's only deemed a mahoosive shock because of the sheer dominance of the old firm, which actually illustrates the problem of Scottish football.

That sort of result happens all the time south of the border without quite the same reaction.

Sadly not as I think Steeeevieee Geeeee would need to pay a massive tax bill if he gets employed back in the UK within a certain time frame (2 years possibly?). It's why Henderson went to Ajax and not back to an English club.

Wayne Rooney's Derby, again?

Clearly did a massive job last time around and was only hampered by the points deduction (except that they were actually still schit, that seems to get glossed over) that he deserves another chance to show his true potential.

Agree about the interesting use of the reggae trimming but that kit is 10000000000000000000x better than the urine one will ever be.
