Not really happy with this appointment, though he is experienced at championship level and seems to be more of a 'motivator' than a 'wheeler dealer' type or other. Of course he gets my full backing and I wait with baited breath to see what he can do. |

Some can Dan, I agree, but that player has to have the right personality and mentality as well as be tactically astute. However with the mess we are in at the minute I believe that a more experienced hand at this level is the way forward, I don't know how that opinion is somehow not valid. The wrong or a rash appointment at this stage could be disastrous. Big Frank Clarke's hand in the appointment is a welcome one. |

Touched a nerve dav? lol Agent Clough is simply lulling you into a false sense of security, both on and off the pitch. The next several games will tell much about your true ability to stay in the top half of the table. Not keen on Cotterill at all, but if he comes I will, of course give him a fair go. You can keep the cast off's for the record. Lets see how Forest fortunes fall over the course of the season ey? Forest's and yours. |

Dan, Although I recognise his legendary status at our club as a player, and am kinda hopeful that sometime in the future he may return to manage us. He is nowhere near the level of manager I would want yet. He applied for the job at our place before BD got it and was rebuffed it is said, probably on experience. If Nige still has you in the top 10 at the end of the season then I will certainly consider him as taken a big step up in his management credentials. Songs about his mother?..... really?.... dubious claim to say the least. |

Calm down. You played it right with 10 men today. We were poor. Camp was well off. Ward was good, as was shackel. Bryson was ok, got skinned a couple of times. Bad times at Forest, but the players we have are much, much better than we played today. It will come.... |

Blatant penalty and its easy to see why he was sent off. Academic now though. Ward played well as did Shackle. We had loads of possession and more chances but couldn't finish them off. Camp to blame for the first goal. Good strike for the second. Well played with 10 men. I'm off to drown my sorrows. |
| News Comment | Note To Nigel - Please Don't Play Forest Into Form! at 18:00:35
I am feeling really positive for this match. Forest have deserved far more from there last 2 games, if we can sort the defence out to the standard of last season then we will have enough to win this one. Thats a big IF though. |

Indeed. It seems he is staying put for now. Hopefully he got the message across that a club such as ours can't be pissed about with by trying to do things on a shoestring budget. I wait with baited breath. |

There are many teams in this league that will be looking to the loan window. Forest are another in a long line of clubs wanting to snap up the best of the rest in the prem. The loan market is the best way to improve the squad risk free and on the cheap IMHO. As long as the loans are for the full season, prem players can be attracted to a lower league club that they would not normally consider, or vice versa the club would not be able to afford. Look no further than Craig Bellamy at cardiff last season. I for one am looking forward to the loan window opening on the 8th.... with as much anticipation as the actual window. |
