I love the idea of some dippy scouse w*nk roaming the streets of Castleton looking for Dale fans, paying for info. I hear 49th Season is in deep with the Rochdale Mafia 🤨 |

My panels were fitted at the end of 2012. I have 16 of them. The feed in tariff rates are much lower now, - I get 16p feed in and 2p export fixed for 25 years (export is what they assume you put into the grid rather than using yourself) the current rate seems to be 4.1p so on my figures only worth about £200 and the rate is guaranteed for 25 years but I would think most households could reduce there bills by 50% just by using the power you generate from the roof. As the Tesla batteries get cheaper, all the electricity you generate during the day and don't use will be available at night via the battery (currently about £4k) and you could effectively be off grid. I have no idea why they are not a standard fitting on new builds just about every house in the country with a south-ish facing roof will work fine if they work in Rochdale as apparently this is the wettest place in the UK with a population of more than 50,000 - we get 800 hours of sunshine less than Southampton per year. Even if it takes 10 years to pay off the cost of the panels, I would still think they are a good bet financially ... you only need to be saving £25 -30 (plus FIT) a month off your bills to pay off the cost of the panels in 10 years giving you a further 15 years for free. BTW you can't take the panels if you move .. they have to stay with the property but I guess they are a selling point! |

I think you're being a bit naive, the third world isn't really like this anymore, North Korea is a third world nation, they have immaculate roads. I think the point 49th was making (someone over zealously) is that as the 5th and soon to be 4th largest economy in the world, our infrastructure is lagging behind the likes of Barbados and Oman. |

As you know the Lacrosse club share their pitches with Dale as a training facility, one of their players has been selected to represent England in the coming European Championships. Below is a press release for anyone who is interested to share or if you would like to make a small donation. Glenn is a top lad and known for having one of the hardest shots in England (which I have learnt to my detriment), the Reg Jenkins of the England Lacrosse team! Local Lad’s Fund Their Way to Gold! The England football team will not be the only English team in with a chance of European silverware this summer. The England Men’s National Lacrosse Team will travel to Budapest, Hungary this summer to compete in the 2016 ELF European Lacrosse Championships. Unlike their football counterparts England’s lacrosse team are the reining European champions and are favourites to lift the coveted trophy again, despite facing still competition from 24 other nations. The team has strong connections with Greater Manchester with 16 of the 28-man roster hailing from the area. Glenn Humphreys from Rochdale Lacrosse Club is one of those players. Glenn will be representing the area in England’s title defence this summer. Glenn who hails from Bamford has been playing lacrosse since the age of 6 and still plays at his local club Rochdale. Despite being of the best players in the country Glenn will have to pay over £4000 to represent his country, as the sport of lacrosse receives no financial support. Glenn Comments: “I’ve been fortunate enough to represent England a number of times since 2008. The balance of working a full time job and training like a professional athlete can prove challenging but every time I pull on the England jersey it makes all the hard work and financial investment worthwhile!” The team is currently training hard in preparation for their title defence, with many of the players balancing full time work or studying with being top-level elite athletes. England will begin their title defence against four-time finalists Germany at the Szent István University Stadium on July 28. England will then play Latvia, the Czech Republic, hosts Hungary and Italy with the final taking place on August 6. To take the pressure off the talented squads, England Lacrosse has launched supporters clubs to raise much-needed lacrosse funding for the European Championship players. Give them the best chance of victory by supporting England Men’s Lacrosse Team today. https://www.pledgesports.org/projects/england-mens-lacrosse-team-2016-european-l Find out more about Team England by visiting: www.englishlacrosse.co.uk/team-england #TeamEngland You can also follow Glenn’s progress via Instagram GLENNHUMPHREYS7 and Twitter @GlennHumphreys7 |

looked like he twisted his knee trying to pull McDonuts shirt off his back. The lino was oblivious and the ref was about half an hour behind play. If Kettle is on of the 36 best referees the FL can put out on any given Saturday then there is something very wrong at the heart of the game. |

Keith protects his players. All of this is just a smoke screen to deflect our attention from the Red card and give O'Sullivan some breathing room. |

It's widely supported by dimwits :P I put it to you that the cold war prevented Russian expansionism, take the Soviet-Afghan war, it's failure was the result of a flailing economy investing in arms in an attempt to match the USA. The Afghan war was the catalyst for the collapse of the whole union and resulting liberation of those under the Iron Curtain, but it is unlikely to have happened without the strain on the Russian economy to compete with the West. |
