Friend at work is a Leicester season ticket holder and he says apart from the big 6 the rest are only 2 poor transfers windows away from relegation. Look at the damage done there by Shakespeare in a very short space of time.
As I'm relatively local I heard Derby fans giving it the big 'I Am' about their accounting policies when this first emerged a couple of season ago - they thought they were being cleverer than the other 71 league clubs doing it their way. I also dislike them in solidarity with number 2 son who's a Tricky Tree who absolutely hates them (not that I have much time for Forest having seen us lose there too many times).
They "sold" Thiago Silva to Olympiakos the other day. It says undisclosed as I bet it's massively inflated to effectively enable the owner to transfer several million into Forest's books to try and keep them within FFP limits.
I see he's shown the same intent in the League Cup at Middlesborough he did with us. Not sure how many changes but seemed a lot from the Watford game. I personally don't see that much point in this cup any more especially as so few managers take it seriously.
Good to read how well we played as well as the result as haven't had too many times to walk around with my head held high in 30 years living up here. Typical though that I'm working from home and can't big it up at work - just not the same on e-mail or messenger.
As a Nottingham resident now I need to check when they're at Notts County as I'd love to go and see them at Meadow Lane. Used to go to Lower Mead occasionally in the late 80s and particularly enjoyed when they played Barnet under Barry Fry and Stan Flashman.
Although I think there's too much emphasis placed on the role of captain in England compared to abroad, what we need is leadership on the pitch - preferably from more than one player.
