Rows even blocks of empty seats in the stadium today, especially the north stand, what about the apparent 4000+ waiting list of people?

Poll: Can’t see the new guy coming in to sit on the bench so, who’s off?

The ticket WEB site said all HOME tickets were sold on on THURSDAY!!!! the empty seats were in the the away area. Tickets returned too late to resell.

if tats the case, how come our fans were in that same block but closer to the away fans? the dividing fabric was to their right and the empty seats were to their left, there was a full block empty , so something wasnt rght

I have come to the conclusion that many of our fans are a bit "plastic", this will be even more apparent on Thursday unfortunately.

The row at the front of the East, from the North stand to nearly the halfway line was totally empty. 1st time I have seen this since the seats went in, so that rubbishes the tickets returned idea.
Think you have hit the nail on the head as an explanation to the empty seats when you state "the ticket website..."
I think it's about time that our club started using a decent agent, who can properly run a ticket sales site. Or Stadco/ Swansea run it themselves.

If you wake up breathing, thats a good start to your day and you'll make many thousands of people envious.

Correct. I buy tickets on a game by game basis as a JA member and due to being stupidly tall I opt to sit in the front row of the east stand. I was in line with the goal line nearest the away supporters and there were no supporters for fifteen seats either side of me.

Being an anti social sort this suits me down to the ground but I do wonder why I am hearing tales of people who tried for tickets in the East and ended up in the North after being told there was no availabillity. I did get some company when the chap who monitors the electronic advertising hoardings sat a few seats down with his lap top.

The steward still demanded to see my tickets every time I came back from the bar/gents despite me being 6"6 and the only one in the row but that's another tale.

I think we would struggle to fill a 30k seater week in week out, we just dont have the fan base to cover for the regulars when they are not able to make it. This is why Huw will never expand our stadium and we are stuck with the smallest stadium in the league :/

Back so soon Jamrag?

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

The moaners on here haven't a clue regarding expanding and filling the stadium in future developments. Clueless and small minded

Build and they will come.

I don't feel that expanding the stadium is about economics it is more about expanding our fan base. Three matches in eight days would have been an ideal time to bring in the kids for a pound deal. Children are the future of the club and we need to give them the opportunity to come.

If the talk of 4000 on the waiting list for season tickets is correct, they probably would sell as they offer excellent value for money. It is totally different if you have to but tickets on a match to match basis. I have two season tickets one for myself and my wife, we have had them for years. But I am not sure if we had to buy three pairs of tickets this week we would go to the three matches. How many of the 16000 season ticket holders would go to every game if they had to pay £35-£40 a game.
