To make it look like the old forum you need to:
Press Settings -> Forum Settings -> View Mode = Table Mode Collapsed View. |
This is tip of the day. Especially for viewing on a pc. Makes the forum look as close to the old boad as possible |  |

Not being able to go directly to unread posts in a thread, is I feel, a fundamental flaw. I’ve not been a member of many message boards, but each one that I do, has the ability to see new posts.
As it stands, we’d have to remember what page of a thread we last read, and then work down from there.
Is this something that will change in this new site, or will remain like this? | |

It’s easy to read the last message added by clicking the “last post” link. Also, multi page threads can be jumped to specific pages.

More than likely. If you can tell me how it works. So, it’s more than a certain number of replies, in date order?

It should go back to a more intuitive page, but I don’t think a page that says “your reply has been successful” is a bit naff.
“Can we have an option to remain signed in, I seem to be constantly asked”
This may be down to both urls being used.
“Can we have a reply button at bottom and top of topic”
I don’t understand. There’s a reply to topic in every post/reply.

Yes, but that will just jump to the last post, not the first post since you last read the thread — if a thread has say 4 pages when you last read it, and 7 pages when you next read it, you don’t want to jump to the last post, and don’t really want to try and remember what page/post you last read, to continue from there. | |
