Not sure whay MH did wrong yesterday......
1 - Aint got a problem with the Team he picked....
2 - Tactics looked ok....
3 - Formation looked OK as well.....
He should not have to be taking Diakite off after 25 minutes, Diakite should be showing a lot more self control, etc once he has been booked - he is a professional international player FFS & I thought he looked ok apart from the fouls. IMO he tackles on his backside and that is very dangerous in the game now. He perhaps should have been advised to be a little bit more carful and stop tackling on his backside by his fellow players.
The only blame on MH is that he signed that player.....overall I thought we were as good as Fulham over the 90 minutes and we should arguably got a point out of the game with 10 men on the field & perhaps more with 11 players out there. | | | |

I blame Hughes absolutely. He signed the guy to start with. Everybody that watched him during the ANC said the same thing: "He averages a foul a minute."
So with that in mind...
Hughes threw him into a game today that was clearly a pace or three beyond him. Whenever he didn't have the ball he was committing a foul. I don't like Phil Dowd and he hands out cards like confetti but Diakite committed three fouls today and was then spoken to, he then commited two more and was booked, he then commited two more and was warned, and then finally he committed another and was sent off. Where was our manager? Everybody in F Block was saying "this bloke won't make half time" from the tenth minute. Why didn't our manager see this? And where was our fcking captain trying to calm him down and warn him and talk him through to half time? Probably too busy slagging off Taarabt. |

Dowd gave him every chance and he didnt learn. Dowd even offered an apology afterwards.
Say what you like about Pulis but a few weeks back Woodgate was booked early on, gave away a penalty that shouldve been the red so Pulis hooked him after 19 minutes.
Hughes was far more concerned with what was going on in the lefthand dugout than on the pitch yesterday. ATAF. | | | |

I think MH should have taken him off. In the away game at Newcastle Derry got booked and from that moment on Rangers weren't in the game. He may as well have come off.

Hughes looks absolutely clueless now. Not taking off Diakete was as bad an individual decision I've seen from a QPR manager in recent years. Steve Kean is doing a better job. At least his players look like they want to play for him. |
Hard to disagree with that pithy post. Around me the general view after the frist yellow was that he had about ten minutes at best befor a red. Hughes judgement was sady, sadly lacking today. |  |

4.swp holding hammy around 70 mins carried on till 80 plus why!
5.needed a goal yet left bothroyd on bench surely we should have gone for it finally 20 mins and risk losing 0-2 0-3 in effort to save a point fullham were poor

I turned up expecting to see Mackie up top with Bobby, and was horrified to see some sort of weird fluid formation with Joey Barton far too far up the field, and again SWP far too far into the centre. Fulham scored and disallowed and I thought the worst from there.
SWP is not strong enough on the ball to risk losing the ball in central positions, and I'm actually starting to think similar about Barton in the middle - Diakite seems like a good player to add some physicality next to Joey if he stays in CM. Where were the players esp. Joey B calming Samba D down? If Samba was going to stay on I couldn't see MH shouting across to him to calm it down.
If its right that people have seen Joey Barton abusing our other players (even in retaliation), he needs the Captaincy off of him asap. | | | |
