Which means that at "17:35 Taiwo's agent was at Loftus Road to sign a contract with QPR. Milan are sending him there on loan."

If you do this to someone like Robben, I immediately like you a bit, but...is he any good? Thoughts?



He's in London. Will he play on Saturday?

This coming from a colleague (I'm a journalist) who is an Englishman in France (covering the French league).

I asked him about Taiwo. He said this:

"His last season at OM was decent. Got better defensively. Style should suit EPL more than Italy. Marseille don't miss him"

Regarding a work permit, What are the French rules on claiming nationality anyone know?

He was at Marseille from 2005-2011 so may have qualified as a French national during that period meaning no wp would be needed.

Brilliant signing. I saw him many times play for Marseille and always liked him. He has power, pace, a good technique and a powerful shot. Him at left back and Traore left wing would be absolutely lethal

Asked my friend (the English journo in France). He told me this:

"he is eligible for a French passport but has not registered for it yet apparently. Milan wanted him to get it."
