Would have gladly accepted a point before KO, especially with that cobbled together defence. But you can't help but feel frustrated at conceding in the last minute in such a brain-dead fashion after unconvincingly pissballing about in possession for the last half hour |

We have come here off the back of an horrendous performance with a cobbled defence and got a really good point
Did we honestly think that we would dominate Norwich in that 2nd half?

Yeah I’d agree with this .
There will be the obvious melt down but we were night and day to Boxing Day and showed great spirit and character . Even the comms were saying that the difference in the 2 benches was enormous.
Ashby, Fox, Kolli, Morgan perhaps wouldn’t be starting normally. Paal ill, Chsir being nursed , Smyth being flogged to death because there is no one else .

Would have taken that before the game so no need t ok throw too many toys out of the pram.
Night and day to Swansea but we looked shattered at the end . Players out there who ideally shouldn’t be so willing to take the positives. Morgan toast again after an hour so needs to strengthen. Had to take the captain off who was playing well but plenty of character shown there .
Nardi , Dunne or Smyth for man of the match .
Thought Jimmy was immense today
Expected a shellacking when teams were announced so not as bad as some will make out.
Still a long way off being a decent side though but can’t ignore the injuries at the moment .

Wow the moaning and vitriol on here is something to behold.
Frustrating to let in an equaliser but that was a game we all expected to lose easily after the Swansea performance and the team selected today but they all put in a great shift. Makeshift defence in particular stood firm against a very strong attacking team at home.

Any goal conceded is frustrating but let's be honest, Norwich missed multiple very good chances. The positives were that the players battled hard after such a poor performance at Swansea. These injuries are really hurting us so we'll have to really dig in and scrap for any points we can get over the next few weeks. |

From the start of the 2nd half it felt as if we were just trying to hold on to what we had with another game 3 days away in mind. Stark contrast from the 1st half where we showed some actual forward intent, but i partly get that.
However an already patched up team finished that game with no real leaders (Dunne / perhaps Fox alone) and we didnt have the collective nouse or game intelligence to see it out which is disappointing. Would it have been any different with Cook, JCS, Field & Chair on the pitch? Quite possibly.
Anyway, we learn from it and go again, decent point on the road would have taken before game. |  | | |

Expected Norwich to score 4 and they easily could have done, so it’s admirable that we got a point.
Nardi was superb as ever, patched up defence very good, but that last 35 mins and the performance of our midfield thereon was very poor.
As an attacking force we are virtually non existent.

After Swansea I thought we might get destroyed given the injury situation in certain key roles is getting worse. Instead very pleasantly surprised that such a makeshift side did so well.
Lost one game in last 6 and taken 11 out of 18 points, Swansea aside we have been difficult to beat. We are not in relegation form and particularly like that we are scrapping for every point with a comparatively thin squad, but also that we are seeing quite a bit more of development squad players getting first team experience that they and we will benefit from later on. That we further dented Norwich's aspirations is even sweeter. |  |

Was genuinely going to be happy with a max of a 2 nil loss today, based on the last performance and the back 4 being decimated and Fox and Ashby starting - albeit Ashby was back over on the right.
Initially felt frustrated because too much dicking around with the ball and Varane switched off when he conceded the throw that led to their goal.
Overall, really happy with a point on the road, with that line up. Field protected for Watford by subbing after his yellow, Clarke-Salter hopefully being kept back for Watford and no further injuries please God.
Still not looking forward to NYD against Watford, but this makes me feel a little more upbeat. |  |

Shame to concede late on but I think most of us saw that team sheet and thought 2/3 nil so the fact that we almost pulled off an unlikely win is a credit to the way we tried to at least be hard to beat. We were and we weren't beaten. 3 points would have been very sweet given our history at Carrow Road but taking 4 points of a Norwich team that has so much more ammo in its squad than we have is decent. A good point we move on and hopefully Marti will be pleased with the players who covered the park today. |  |

First half excellent, second half not as good but still it’s a great result away from home at norwich.
Need to find a way to play possesion based football with Morgan at the heart of it , was playing them off the park at stages today. Field was good as well and finally had more touches today with 40 odd. Morgan most touches for QPR with 63 but was tired towards the end but you would expect that. Chair was good I thought back to his usual self and worked his socks off.
MOTM probably Dunne, Morgan, maybe even chair for workrate as well!
