The SNP Budget Fiasco on 17:29 - Dec 6 by SullutaCreturned | Hows this for a percentage....no, lets keep it simple for you...this year approx 12.6 million UK residents are over 65 and roughly 10 million live in England with around 670,000 living in Wales. The second paragraph is hardly a surprise and as I said, there's a lot more elderly people in England that need support. You don't need a bridge, just the capability to think. |
England 19% ….. whereas over one-fifth (21.3%) of the Welsh population in 2021 (662,000) were aged 65 years and over, up from 18.4% (562,544) in 2011. Percentages see. Higher percentage of old people means increased demand for medical care. How come you don’t know this ?

21% of 3.5 million is a lot less than 19% of 57,000,000...how come you can't understand that? Wales gets more money per head for health and social care than every region of England except for London so there's a lot of older people North of the Watford gap who are worse off than those in Wales. To clarify, there's around 11 million OAP's in England against 670k in Wales. Do those 670k need more healthcare than 11 million in England?
