Everyone Likes Us vs No One Likes Them Match Thread 11:58 - Sep 20 with 31745 views | FredManRave | It's the good guys against those bad apples and hats tomorrow. Very quietly confident about this game for some strange reason. If we could actually put together 2 consistently good halves to make one whole game, whereby, for the most part, they're spending their back against the WAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLL then I think we can get the win. 2-0 Rangers with a Frey train marauding though their defence... Stay safe and hopefully no R's receive too many "come on then", evil stares or wànker signs in their direction before during or after the game.

Everyone Likes Us vs No One Likes Them Match Thread on 14:19 - Sep 21 by Damo1962 | Looks like it. We don't seem to have more than one goal in us most of the time. Not going to win many matches( especially at LR) with those statistics. |
And always going 0-1 down first

Everyone Likes Us vs No One Likes Them Match Thread on 14:25 - Sep 21 with 3135 views | Toast_R | I think we've been shyte all season. The win at Luton the only highlight and all from.a punt down field that inspired Frey to turn the game. Plymouth we were kind of,just, meh for 80 minutes, and the last two matches have been really poor, lucky to scrape a point from them against teams that really aren't all that. Very concerning. Chair can't come back in quick enough. [Post edited 21 Sep 14:30]

Yep. We've actually got worse since Anderson went off. Whole team has been woeful today. Either these players aren't as good as some think, or the manager is failing to get the most out of them. Still not convinced by either scenario. There is a real hex on us at LR... and we need to get to the bottom of it.

To my mind we've only actually played well for 45 minutes this season, in that second half vs Luton. So, so frustrating Sorry, was meant to be replying to Toast_R [Post edited 21 Sep 14:29]

Agree. MC and the players need to up their games if we aren't to be bottom six again.
Everyone Likes Us vs No One Likes Them Match Thread on 14:29 - Sep 21 with 2833 views | GaryBannister86 | Hope it was better to those at the game. Looked lucky to get a point to me. Praise for Nardi - some good saves and confident on the ball (if heart stoppingly so at the end). Too many players out of sorts, even Cookie not at his best. Also praise for Frey, one sniff, one goal. Can't argue with that. I am hoping Chair will get us up and running properly.
Everyone Likes Us vs No One Likes Them Match Thread on 14:29 - Sep 21 with 2837 views | BrazilNutR | well, that was not the greatest Saturday morning viewing I have ever seen... rather dull. Not many great performances.. Keeper did well enough, and Frey took his goal very well. But worrying that Wall managed to control much of the game in our yard. None of the subs did anything of note. Can't wait for Chair to come back, think we really miss him
Everyone Likes Us vs No One Likes Them Match Thread on 14:30 - Sep 21 with 2762 views | Boston | Disappointing, but a fair result. Millwall played well, they could have turned us over here, couple of decent chances for them. Anyway, no defeat.

Everyone Likes Us vs No One Likes Them Match Thread on 14:35 - Sep 21 with 2566 views | Match82 | I'm not going to write Andersen off, he was great last year and we don't know if something is affecting him off the field, or with an injury which is driving these performances but he certainly needs to reset and get his head and body right. Poor today and has been for a while.
Everyone Likes Us vs No One Likes Them Match Thread on 14:36 - Sep 21 with 2526 views | karlski | Andersen I have a lot of time for after role he played last season but he definitely looks like he’s gone physically. So easily dispossessed, moving through treacle. A really bad performance (and he looked like he knew it when he went off). I really feel for him, he’s not doing it on purpose, but I can’t see him staying in the first 11. I think we must have ‘broken the press’ and actually got the ball from front to back to an attacking player in space maybe once or twice. That’s it. Unless we improve that…will be in trouble this season. We’ve shown good resilience to win some games and it lose some games, but not a lot to suggest we can take over a game and win comfortably which you have to be able to do from time to time to compete in this division. Still lots of new players bedding in, figuring out what they can do, system, chair to come back, etc. But needs to come together soon. Generally decent defending at least. Nardi again with a good smothering stop. And I will stick up for Madsen. I think he’ll get better the more he plays. Something about him, technically sound, knows the picture around him before he’s received the ball, good spatial awareness. He’s never going to be hustle and bustle though, so have to find the best fit for him in the team.
Everyone Likes Us vs No One Likes Them Match Thread on 14:41 - Sep 21 with 2347 views | stevec | Like a few of the new players but when you use analytics is there a button on the keyboard that analyses what they’re like against big ugly fckers who love to get stuck in a bit? Our whole defence should be commended for the performances they’re putting in.
Everyone Likes Us vs No One Likes Them Match Thread on 14:43 - Sep 21 with 2276 views | kensalriser | The truth is we're just not very good. We're not very bad either, which is an improvement from the start of last season, but Chair aside we don't have any players who can be relied on to put in a good performance every game. The hope is that the young players will improve and that the new players will also improve as the team beds in. But the lack of energy has been a problem every game, as is the sluggish build up play and persistent gentlemanly gesture of allowing the opposition to get back into position before we attack. The one time we broke quickly we scored. Still much to work on here. On the bright side, you must be joking if you think Cifuentes is getting poached any time soon. [Post edited 21 Sep 14:44]

Everyone Likes Us vs No One Likes Them Match Thread on 14:47 - Sep 21 with 2176 views | THEBUSH | Thankfully we have some decent defenders and a decent goalkeeper. It seems as if Marti goes for ball playing midfielders. For me, we need, more than that, Sam Field, can't do it all, by himself.
Everyone Likes Us vs No One Likes Them Match Thread on 14:55 - Sep 21 with 1983 views | Hunterhoop | Frey, Field and Nardi…all very good. Centre halves rock solid. Full backs took far too long in possession to move it. Too many touches. Madsen and Andersen were so poor both in possession and out of it. Madsen is asleep off the ball. Doesn’t know what it going on around him. Andersen was just awful on the ball. We simply couldn’t play through them.

Currently at Shepards Bush Station and I can confirm it was as bad being there as it was I assume on TV. Absolutely shocking performance, probably the worse I've been to since MC came in. Don't understand why Dunne is still at full back, Millwall targeted him. Lack of someone in midfield who can get the game by the scruff of the neck. Worryingly I don't seem to see a style of play. It all looks disjointed.

Cifuentes is definitely not the Messiah. Needs to start showing what all the fuss is about for me. We do have some good players, but today to my eyes ...they simply did not look they been prepared well. Millwall are the epitome of a tough, no nonsense Championship side...and that is what we should be aiming for. Quietly impressed by them. We only really seem to play well in night matches at LR 🤔
Everyone Likes Us vs No One Likes Them Match Thread on 15:08 - Sep 21 with 1769 views | stevec | Good Keeper, defenders and front man but aside of Field, midfield are skittles. Not an issue having one or two in there, you need playmakers, but four? The defence has been very good, but the nature of these games is going to result in a lot of wear and tear if this carries on. Start losing them to injury and we’re in trouble again.

"needs to show what all the fuss is about" Well he produced "the fuss" with his frankly excellent efforts last season, no? Perhaps a bit early to get the knives out.

Very disjointed indeed. We lack a central midfielder who moves into space and demands the ball, passes and then moves... a la Buszaky. Madsen isn't that guy, as he shows no sign of game sense... he admires a pass. The amount of times we completely bypassed the midfield was alarming. It s not easy to manufacture a ball playing midfielder who demands the ball, but we need to urgently coach it into Madsen. So frustrating how we haven't beaten that clueless outfit, and they were sh@t

The match stats are terrible: all the important ones were massively in Wall’s favour. Lucky to get a point and our attacking players were way off the pace with the notable exception of Frey. Don’t think you can play Andersen and Madsen in the same team, thought we missed Colback as well to stand up to their physicality. Chair should make a big difference when he’s fit. Another poor home game.
