Just been listening to Radio 2 whilst sat in traffic and they had a feature on about the Euro Final on Sunday. It started off talking about an event in Brighton where a fan zone has cancelled all the free tickets sent out for the final and are now reselling new tickets charging to get in to watch the game as England are in the final. Turns out from the listeners responses that a lot of pubs are doing the same. So, just a heads up for all UI’s out there, if you are planning to watch the game in your local just check it is not an all ticket event, and if it is, it hasn’t sold out! |  |

In the 2018 Word Cup I am sure the various fan zones being televised for national news coverage were competing against each other to see who could hurl the most beer up in the air when England scored - Croydon won by a mile! Never seen anything like it. Quite agree with you, I wouldn’t go near one either. Same goes for one of the four pubs on the four corners of Brentford’s old Griffin Park ground, it’s the local HQ for a Celtic Supporters Club - apparently they gather there every time England play to cheer on the opposition. | |
