Hamas teach the children of Gaza how to identify a Jew and the most efficient way to stab them to death. They also operate camps to teach children how to use weaponry and be child soldiers and the targets they shoot at are often depictions of Jewish people. It may not be in their charter but it’s shown in their actions day in day out for decades now.
It’s 17 years since Hamas seized power, it’s conceivable that everyone under the age of 30 would have had some influence from this “education system” there. It’s no wonder they found so many willing volunteers to break into Israel and shoot them all in cold blood. They have been brought up to hate.
Any evidence of that?

But here are a few quotes from top Hamas officials from the last year or so. I’d love to hear your opinion on them and your reasoning for siding with these monsters:

Hamas Political Bureau Chairman Saleh Al-Arouri in an August 2023 interview: He expressed Hamas’ desire for “total war” with Israel: “Therefore, we are convinced that if a total conflict begins, the airspace and seaports of this entity will be shut down, and they will not be able to live without electricity, water, and communications.”
Hamas senior leader Khaled Mashal stated on October 19, 2023 that he views the current loss of civilian life in Gaza – brought about by Hamas' strategy of using human shields – as essential: “No nation is liberated without sacrifices... In all wars, there are some civilian victims. We are not responsible for them.”
Hamas senior leader Ismail Haniyeh, commenting on the loss of civilian life in Gaza on October 26, 2023: “The blood of the women, children and elderly […] we are the ones who need this blood, so it awakens within us the revolutionary spirit.”

If Hamas surrendered and released the hostages then yes this specific conflict would certainly end. It wouldn’t end the tension and animosity long term but the fighting would stop.
It looks like they offered to release the hostages to stop the Israeli invasion into Gaza. Israel thought “hostages back? No, let’s invade because we want revenge and we can claim us killing our own people is some kind of acceptable collateral damage “.

I’m really at a loss as to the views expressed here by some supporting Hamas. Let’s make no mistake about this, Hamas is an Islamic terrorist organisation who would be happy to see for starters Israel erased from the face of the earth and indeed the rest of the western world too.
Some on here talk about genocide on behalf of Israel. Again, these people have been persecuted over the centuries and during WW2 especially. Maybe, just maybe they’re a bit fed up with all this and are now retaliating in kind and with interest.
Let’s not conflate what Israel are doing with what Hamas did on 7/10. The unfortunate thing about wars and conflicts is that there will always be tragic collateral damage including very sadly, human life. October 7th was NOT collateral damage, it was a murderous terrorist attack.
Some people need to check themselves on here and elsewhere and see where the real evil lies!
