January Fixtures on 21:16 - Dec 29 with 4265 views | Yorkshire_Dale | Marketing aside, the thing that jumps out at me is the opportunity for the players to rest and recuperate a bit. Only one long away trip and a full week off to boot. McNulty is correct in that our small squad is on it's knees and he wants no more injuries from training as a min. Difficult to guess how many points we might get as to be honest, we just scraped past Fylde at the weekend(thankfully).......double figs would be amazing.
January Fixtures on 21:30 - Dec 29 with 4229 views | EllDale | There are two home games which are both winnable. I’d settle for seven points - six from the home fixtures and a draw at Fylde. Can’t see us getting anything from visits to Altrincham and Aldershot to be honest especially if Nevett leaves before the end of the month.

This squad has played 26 games and been training since July, a weeks break will do them more good than anything else apart from a week in warm weather. They are as fit as they are going to get with the notable exceptions of the long term injured and those carrying " niggles" . Get the on some sunbeds, top up their vitamin D levels and let them rest, then concentrate on tactics and dispositions in the pitch. A fresh mental attitude will go much further at this stage than yet more yards in their tired legs and bodies.

I think there may be better ways of getting Vitamin D in them than sticking them on machines that are known to cause skin cancer.

If it's the same as last season, the next suspensions kick in for players who have received 10 yellow cards inside 37 National League fixtures. Cameron John currently has 8, EEL has 6 and Harvey Gilmour 5, so they are probably the players in most peril given we still have 11 games to play to reach that cut-off point. The suspensions would be for two games.
