No Mitchell. He did get a knock late in the game on Tuesday, so guess it could be that. He’s a real miss.

It is a surprise to see Sinclair on the bench.

Ps I thought John was suspended?

That was a ridiculous finish, still not too sure about the need to constantly over play it out from the keeper

But we don’t! We go long at times and it stretches the play.

The only issue is when we play without tempo, then we get stuck in our own/middle third - like the first half last Saturday.

Played with tempo all game. Some of the one touch moves have been reminiscent of Hilly no-fear stuff. We have started playing behind full backs inside them, instead of playing it wide, allowing the wide out to cut in behind, get to the byline then cut it back. It's lovely to watch and frankly, a miracle on the budget BJ was given. Who knew football could be enjoyable to watch again?

Any reason we get two words of praise when we’re winning but paragraphs of negativity when we’re losing? Not a dig, but just wondered.

But we clearly do, they cottoned onto it straight from the kick off where they leave 3/4 players high up, just done it again literally 2 mins ago where Jez played a loose ball and put us under pressure 4 against 4, its ridiculous and puts us under unnecessary pressure from our own possession.

Its not normal nor necessary for a centre half to kick the ball 5 yards square to the keeper from a goal kick

When it’s overdone and all the time it’s an issue. But that’s not what we do.

Of course there are occasions when we’d want them to do it differently, with poor choices made, but it allows us to then switch the play to good effect and score all those goals when we go long after the opposition are camped in our half.

Another one to add to his cool chip finishes, in slow motion it looked like it took a bobble just as he kicked it too, great calm finish

It's very much over done, not saying we do it every goal kick but we're instinctively always looking to play short as a first choice with tiny gaps to work with, it's unnecessary and will inevitably go terribly wrong soon enough.

Without tempting anything we've looked a lot lot better with the simple defending of balls into the box though so credit that, playing very very well

If we stop doing it, it will change the entire way we play.

As you said, it brings 4/5 opposition players to within 25 yards of our goal. That stretches the play and creates gaps, if we stop then teams will sit off. So therefore it’s totally necessary, as our goalscoring exploits illustrate.

Pegged a real fluke back there - attempted clearance from Nevett hit John - in the face? - and bounced straight to their striker who slotted home.

You don't have to do it so often to put doubt in the opposition, it occurs that often now that it's too predictable that's my whole point, not saying it doesn't work just doesn't need to be done with such regularity.

Think Nevett has looked very leggy and pretty poor today,
