Blackpool Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of Charlie Goode, who joins on loan from Premier League outfit Brentford for the remainder of the season.
A central defender by trade, Goode has amassed over a century of appearances in the EFL, having played for the likes of Scunthorpe, Sheffield United and Northampton, who he captained to promotion to League One in 2020.
Standing at six-foot five-inches tall, Goode also brings Premier League experience to Bloomfield Road, making four starts for Brentford in their maiden campaign in the top-flight last season.
A former England C international, Goode could make his Seasiders debut in the FA Cup Fourth Round against Southampton this weekend.
On joining Blackpool, Charlie Goode said:
"It's good to finally get this all done and I'm looking forward to the second half of the season.
"Like any move, you're always pleased to finally have it confirmed, particularly as this is something that has been spoken about for a few weeks. I can't wait to get out there and help the boys as best I can over the course of the next few months."
