Who do we currently think is the best starting XI we have? Tough to say as many won’t have seen the new players in the flesh but I think our strongest XI, that are fit would be;

Pretty much how we lined up against Scunny with the only exception being Graham.

Agree with this lineup but still think we're a couple of signings away from having a side I'd happy with. I think we need another centre back, a right sided one because although I think there's a decent career ahead of Max Taylor, I wouldn't want him being relied on too heavily at all. We have three centre halves and currently it's one from those three and the other two are Graham and McNulty which, for me, isn't an option.
I don't mind Jimmy Keohane at left wing back either but I also think that's a position we can improve on as well.
We could also do with a backup keeper. |  |

As it stands I think O'Donnell EEL and John are nailed on starters. The 3rd centre back seems up for grabs. Wing backs are also available but Seriki and Jimmy are in the driving seats. Think the middle 3 will be Ball Toums and Kelly. Front 2 is Hendo and one other with Rodney possibly in the lead for that place. | |

I see nobody rates Aidi White for the LB position.
If he can stay fit, his pedigree is superb.
80+ games in the Championship, mainly for Leeds, but also Rotherham and Barnsley, also 24 games for Hearts before coming to us.
He is pretty quick.

He's made more than 20 appearances in just 3 seasons of his career so far. These were 2010-2013. A fit 20 year old Aidy White would be a great signing.
Hopefully he can kick on this season and be a valuable player but we've seen so little of him I wouldn't know what to expect. | |
