Brand new track from the marvellous stoner rock outfit King Buffalo. Great stuff 👏
"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

Anyone else like Kadavar? Great band.
I know of them and like them Thanks for sharing that.
Did you know that they made an album jointly with the band Elder? This track is fantastic, in my humble opinion, as is the video. I have shared this before, in case anyone is getting a feeling of deja vu.

Black Mountain: more space rock than hard rock though this hits hard when it kicks in. Saw them at Glastonbury back in the day and the lead singer was told they only had time for one more song so they played this in its 16 & a half minutes glorious entirety. Were pretty much dragged offstage at the end.
This weeks band who ‘hardly any f*cker has ever heard of but were/are amazing’ is Dixie Witch from Texas . Incredible live band in a small sweaty club(not this clip unfortunately) but still so good .

Seeing slipknot play their first album in full tonight. First metal album I heard.
A lot of the gimmacky metal bands don't have the music to back it up and I've grown out the vast majority of music of this style, but still rate this album highly. Appreciate some will disagree.

The most ambitious crossover soundtrack to a film of all time? I had it on loop when it came out, the Slayer/Ice-T medley cover of 3 Exploited songs the standout for me closely followed by Biohazard/Onyx...

Anyone get slayer tickets? I just couldn't do it at £105 plus booking fee. Seen them twice before at least.
I didn't bother, I was front row at the Ally Pally in 2012 with the Melvins and Sleep. I don't think it will compare. I did buy Arch Enemy tickets though, I've not seen them with Alisa.

King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard have been putting out videos on YouTube of their tour last year. Whoever filmed this has done a brilliant job and the band are fantastic. No idea what it’s all about but it’s so entertaining.
The videos are quite long and quite an investment of time. I’ve just had them playing in the background at home while cooking etc. There’s a bit in the middle where they leave their instruments and go onto their modular synths. The range of musicianship on show is something else, these are properly talented people.
