There's hardly any difference from the current situation, except we can't travel out of Swansea without a good reason or meet anyone else in a house.

Here we go, Swansea in lockdown on 14:02 - Sep 25 with 3339 views | exhmrc1 | They are 100% right. Should have acted earlier this week.We have gone from 0 cases on 15 September to 49 yesterday and increasing each day. More people now in hospital and deaths will follow. The 49 are not all false positives and the increases can be traced back to when Air Bridges were brought in and pubs opened and have increased ever since.

What it absolutley proves is how stupid it was for Wales to be in a longer lock down than England. Pubs and restaurants have had their hours curtailed at exactly the same time as England but with a month less to build up some funds to cover the inevitable. The actions of WG have probably shut business and cost jobs for absolutley no reason.
Here we go, Swansea in lockdown on 14:28 - Sep 25 with 3305 views | onehunglow | We will simply never get rid of this virus until our tw'ats realise it really int a Govt made fantasy or a ruse for power ;its a killer disease and that means it can kill any of us. It means wearing a cloth in a shop. Why not? Why are those not challenged, why are they served.Alcohol, tobacco, baldes and paracetamol ales are challenged as it is law;as this should be. Boris is stupid and criminally negligent in this regard. Common Sense?.Get into the real world and see what clown we have for a nation. Also you had around half of children back in school from June 1st. Those kids in England have had hell of an advantage coming back to school in September. Children's football has been back up and running for some time too which has a brilliant effect on mental health and wellbeing. [Post edited 25 Sep 2020 14:44]

Some people are medically or mentally exempt from wearing them. It would be difficult to challenge people who may not want to, or be able to discuss why they are exempt. And who should police it? Definitely not shop workers.

19 cases in Neath Port Talbot higher per 100,000 population than Swansea's 28. Also Neath Port Talbot houses the Bay Campus and many of the overseas students are based there in quarantine so there might be rises in cases in Neath Port Talbot as well.

There are some though who are just arrogant and refuse to wear one. B@astards they are. Anyway, anyone could wear a visor surely?
| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

I agree largely with this but the evidence shows that wearing masks doesnt reduce the numbers catching coronavirus. Since England brought the wearing of masks in shops in the number of cases has increased. Similarly in Wales since they were brought in. The only things shown to be successful at reducing it have been stopping it coming in and strict social distancing yet some wont recognise that. Keeping borders and pubs closed actually prevents cases. Wearing masks doesnt.

Here we go, Swansea in lockdown on 15:17 - Sep 25 with 3203 views | onehunglow | Neath Thanks for reply. No difftly the erence between a shop staff member asking for ID to buy alcohol. Its exatly the same principle. When full lockdown was on,shoppers were stopped before entering by security staff as regards numbers in store etc. It should not be beyond the wit of man to address this issue. It is really a matter of life or death. (Exemptions) can actually be obtained on line. We fail to do this and it'll go on and on. And ...have footballer s stopped from gobbing on pitch

Here we go, Swansea in lockdown on 15:39 - Sep 25 with 3178 views | Highjack | What is the point of bringing in rules, laws and restrictions if they can not or will not enforce them? This has been the problem with lockdown from the start, too many people just carrying on as normal and nothing being done to curb it.

The difference is that these anti-Covid types are doing it to prove a point, and will generally be more vocal and aggressive than someone being asked for ID. It’s not down to a 17 year old shop worker to tangle with those oddballs.
