Yes, but slightly balancing that out is that Terry Yorath should have been sent off after four minutes for a disgraceful two footed 'tackle/assault' on Bayern defender Bjorn Andersson which he had to be substituted off for and which I think later ended his career prematurely.
About 43 seconds in gives you a better view.
EDIT: It was actually Uli Hoeness who would suffer a career ending injury from another brutal tackle from Frank Gray in this game.
Fcuk em ! Another set of deluded tw@ts living in the past. In McDonald’s before the game and a group of grown men acting like school kids on a day out , effing and jeffing towards the staff and generally giving it big bllox , grown fking men ffs
There were plenty of similar w@nkers strolling around the area acting like idiots. They always do when they come down to us.Good numbers, but what a bunch of tw@ts. Walking past the loft singing about beating up cockneys just makes you look like an idiot, especially when there’s only families there.
They do make a good old racket when they get into their completely ridiculous Champions of Europe nonsense, all caught up babbling on about rose-tinted shyte and considering us to be nothing. The problem is that if we're officially nothing, and in fact a nothing that's in our worst league run since the 90s, and they're the Champions of Europe, how come it's 0-0? Followed swiftly by 1-0? I just can't get my head round the physics of it all.

On the forum I looked at they were saying that “teams like QPR “ up their game because they are playing Leeds and will go back to a shoddy performance next game and it is cheating our own fans, probably the most deluded thread I have ever read anywhere. I have been going to football for over 40 years and I reckon they have spent the majority of that time out of the top flight, I was there when they as a second division team knocked us out the cup and they ran on the pitch and celebrated like they had won the damn thing.
favourite cheese mature Cheddar. FFS there is no such thing as the EPL
I noticed their fans threw bottles onto the pitch on three occasions, comically almost hitting one of their own players too, but I expect that'll be ignored by the FA/FL or we'll get a fine...

Scum of the earth Leeds fans, always have been.
If we play them next season just give them the upper tier.
Second time this season they've pelted the players with bottles and coins - happened up at theirs as well.
Bit tasty at White City tube immediately afterwards apparently as well. Lovely chap in a grey sweater his mum bought him standing in the middle of Bloemfontein Road afterwards singing "you're getting stabbed in the morning". Not sure why he wanted to wait until Wednesday but there you go.
I was impressed with them. I'm not that up to date with their injuries, but if they can play with that cohesion, pace and energy despite missing first-teamers then I'm even more impressed.
But I was also impressed with us, and felt we deserved the win.
TWo of our injuries were Cameron and Rangel, both injured in the reverse fixture at Elland Road. Havnt played since . The foul that took Cameron out for 3 months was a red card assault, I refuse to call it a challenge.
Whilst i agree with your points, it must also be added i think, that if Leeds felt hard done by, they should have walked!
Yes they would have been banned / fined, but it would have opened up that can of worms totally for public scrutiny.
I'd like to see teams in the UK do that, if they suspect a 'homer' , or just totally incompetent ref. to be honest. The games not straight and sooner or later someone with the cajones will be man enough to stand up to the crap.
There was a piece online yesterday i think it was, about inadequate referees in the top league and their ability to keep up with the game, see the lines properly, and cannot handle fast breaking teams, so dont commit themselves to the last 1/4 of the pitch, but say further back meaning they can have a chance of keeping up with a breakaway, but miss the rubbish in the penalty areas due to being too far away and sight lines etc.
The game needs to change. Give them the 'Champions of Europe' cup for lords sake, they deserve it..... then after 5 minutes give it to Rangers for we, have 'served' Lids right and proper, twice in the 'citadel of football'!!!
QPR, 1986 league cup final, refused to play because of the increasing commercialisation of football. WTF is a 'milk cup' anyway? Oxford were awarded the match 3-0, which is the usual when there is a no-show. QPR are still feeling the ramifications today as the FA/FL never miss a chance to seek revenge for us spoiling one of their show-piece games. Jim Smith was happy anyway. The slob.

They are convinced there is a conspiracy to keep them out of the prem because they are so huge and such a massive drawcard for people to watch the championship. Utterly deluded.
My nephew is a Leeds fan and spouted stuff yesterday about teams lifting against them etc. He also predicted we would win though. They are near the top of course teams will lift. Look like yet again they are bottling a great chance of promotion. A few weeks ago they were around 7 points clear of 3rd place, now they are 3rd themselves.

Leeds are a big club, but you'd think they were Liverpool or Man Utd the way the bang on. They have loads of fat middle-aged blokes who support them all over the country, but England's playgrounds are hardly overflowing with kids pretending to be Kemar Roofe. The idea that there's some conspiracy to keep them in the Football league is bonkers - how many millions tune in to watch the average Leeds game on SKY? Utterly delusional and paranoid.

Assuming a lot of 50+ something blokes who were all glory hunters in the early 70s. At least for those non-Leeds based Leeds fans.
The bentest of bent referees was in charge. They played Bayern off the pitch from start to finish. If memory serves me correctly, Leeds were denied two blatant penalties in the first half, a handball then a trip by Beckenbauer. Second half Leeds scored to take the lead, the ref gave it and ran to the half way line to re-start the game. Then Beckenbauer literally chased the ref, the ref spoke to a linesman and they both changed their minds and disallowed the goal. Bayern were reigning European Cup holders and West Germany were current World & European champions. This win was Bayerns 3rd European Cup win on the bounce.
One of the biggest scandals in football.

Having read your explanation of such a travesty. I can't help but still think, FCK EM. Horrible shitpile of a club and supporters. Them and Stoke
