On face value it would appear that the club itself paid for the commercial that the original owners used to sell it and personally enrich themselves. Of course, the club was never reimbursed from these massive profits for the losses made on the advertisement that the BBC could probably have knocked together for 5% of the cost.
That whole thing stinks far more than anything the Americans have come up with so far. |

Why wasn't Martin 'Spielberg' Morgan allowed to set up another sub-business i.e. 'Jaxx Bay Movie Productions' to (*cough, cough, cough*) win the contract to make the movie?
