Job losses, companies moving out, international organisations withdrawn, withdrawal from collaborative science programmes, loss of front line staff in the NHS, banks moving £bns of assets out of UK, multi-nation families being split apart, inward investment collapsed. All happened, not “guestimates” but reality now. Take your head out of the sand - it’s one big exercise in self harm.

Transport - lack of investment in infrastructure & privatisation = UK & devolved governments decisions

I sat next to an ex-soldier from the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders last week. He was on the next little table to me in the hall. We were both taking the German citizenship test. We got talking and it turned out that I was working as a student at Mercier barracks in Osnabruck in the seventies at the same time as he was stationed there as a young squaddie. Roughly translated as Blair Brown etc. signing off our sovereignty bit by bit .I was never arguing that .The point I was making was that when you join the "club" the ECJ takes primacy over English law. The vehicle that allows this to happen is irrelevant .The fact is in any conflict between the house of Lords and the ECJ on a matter of law there will only be one winner.

Academic evidence and polling says the overwhelming majority of Labour voters voted remain. Even in Labour held leave voting seats, the evidence says that a majority of Labour voters voted remain. There is literally no evidence to suggest otherwise.
