Principal International is the trading name of Principal Choice Limited which is a subsidiary of Principal Marketing..... Can't see anything about being FSA registered so anyone who has signed up has presumably/maybe(?) entered into a contract with someone or something. If that's the case I assume chances are it would be ringfenced somehow meaning that if/when the money dries up there ain't no money anywhere to claim your losses from. The old saying 'If it sounds too good to be true' = 'If it's anything to do with bury fc...'

Has anybody from the Bury end raised concerns about the new guy? are they really that gullible, if we can find this stuff surely they can.
| This is not the time for bickering.

Buckets takeover imminent? on 08:25 - Dec 12 with 5447 views | smaclad1 | The OMT was indeed the home of SMAC in its exuberant youth, SMAC hosting a couple of events there. The OMT is now closed. It has for several years been Altrincham's premier real-ale venue, though not quite hitting the peaks for me in recent times. It has been left a bit isolated by the changing focus of pub-going and nightlife in Altrincham town centre, and being on the wrong side of the busy A56 with no nearby crossing facilities hasn't helped. The campaign to save the pub focussed heavily on the pub as a live music venue, principally the rock bands on weekend evenings. Despite what it says in the article below, my understanding is that the pub was still owned by Punch Taverns, but presumably they had been making behind the scenes moves to dispose of the pub during the past several months - a quick search on Companies House website will reveal more that one 'Old Market Tavern' styled company was established in 2018. Steven Dale had been involved with the OMT as a going concern but despite his apparent interest he is not the new owner, the pub is currently closed and presumably SD's interests in the pub have fallen. https://www.placenorthwest.co.uk/?s=old+market+tavern Flats, hotel or hotel/bar are the options I have heard being bandied around, but think this is largely speculation at this time.

Of course, all the talk of the OMT etc assumes that buryblog has got the right property developer Steven Dale, and it's not Steve Dale from Welsley Consulting involved in building Schools, Hospitals, Hotels and Halls of Residence. Either way - oh dear. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Yes they have been discussing his untaxed Rolls Royce which had parked on the bury car park (whilst discussing the matter it miraculously got taxed online). Other than that they are just worried if his number plate is legal because of the spacing being wrong between the letters/numbers.

The other Steve Dale https://www.manchesterprofessionals.co.uk/profile/steve-dale http://www.wensleyconsulting.co.uk/ Can't be him surely - the company website has the words 'due diligence' on it! So, which is it? Has buryblogger bloggered it up??

Wensley Consulting is run by Stephen Derek Dale age 65. Terrapin, perhaps hide in your shell when the creditors arrive at Gigg Lane, is run by Derek James Dale who is 60 but no doubt ageing fast.
Buckets takeover imminent? on 11:20 - Dec 13 with 4405 views | smaclad1 | David Conn's take on the takeover - this has flagged an issue with pension contributions not being paid into the pot attracting the attention of the Pensions Regulator (makes a change from HMRC, I suppose), and looks at some of the more recent loans, failure to lodge papers by due dates etc etc. He was also assured that all creditors will be paid in full. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/dec/13/bury-new-owner-steve-dale-finan Anyone in the vicinity of the Village Hotel might want to see if they can gatecrash this event this lunchtime. No further announcement on the bury fc website, so presumably this will be a first (sort of) public appearance? https://www.buryfc.co.uk/news/2018/december/eat-drink-and-be-bury/

If ever there was a more aptly named journalist to write about the shenanigans at gigg. And it seems they have secured the services of Day to perform at the Xmas lunch.
