Parking fine 10:16 - Oct 11 with 7663 views

Hi just looking for any tips/advice

I have received a fixed penalty charge of £70, for parking outside Sainsbury’s in the uplands, this was at 8.45 on a Wednesday night, and the letter says this is area is a taxi rank. (I had no idea)

Any suggestions on how I could get this penalty from the council overturned?

I got done for parking in Paxton street car park for not displaying a valid ticket.
After buying a ticket and taking a stroll down to 360 cafe I returned to the car for something from the boot. Closing the boot must have sent a gust of air through the car and flipped the parking ticket upside down, hence a fine for not displaying a valid ticket...
Fair cop and lesson learned. Every time you visit your vehicle, check that you are still displaying that little white piece of paper correctly.
Either that or park somewhere that issues them good ole tickets with the peel off sticky bit so that you can affix and display without further concern..
