Personally I class it as black bag material! Some w@nker left a 'rejected' pink bag outside my house that contained 100% polystyrene content complete with a Swansea City Council rejection sticker saying that the bags content was not considered to be recyclable material.
When I get a brand new TV or large electrical item I saw the polystene up and into a black bag it goes!

Not the council employee, I meant the person that dumped it randomly outside somebody else's house! The day it was left, it was a week after the pink recycling collection, there was no wind to take it down the street.

Oh I see. Thanks for clearing the issue up (excuse the pun).

Thanks for the replies guys. With the Airshow on, I think I’ll give Clyne a miss this time. Didn’t know it was now recycled though
Clyne accept it for recycling (it’s by the black bin compactor, so they may just chuck it in there at the end of the day!). Yep, Probably a good idea to give Clyne a miss though this weekend unless you come to it from Derwyn Fawr.
Not something you can put out for kirbside recycling - ok to put in black bags for that.

Aye, my experience was not unique a few local council estate residents had a lot of redirected-rejected-recycling dumped outside their houses. It happened on the post Xmas period when (considered non recyclable) Xmas wrapping paper in green bags and polystyrene in pink gets rejected.
