I've no idea what Dale are paying Done. Nor did we "fight off clubs from our league and higher" for his signature. (which is a euphemism for "we're paying him more than anybody else was prepared to.")
Fact is, Sheffield United still owed us money for him and Brentford sold Scott Hogan to Aston Villa in January. I'm sure his wages are well accounted and budgeted for.

I still don't get dids why you can't understand the shaking of heads from Dale fans. Bury have been in administration, had multiple ccj's and have debts which run into multiple millions and yet still splash the cash. Yet Mr Day is lauded by a majority of fans. Less than 12 months until the new ground opens as well!
I know football is a stupid business and clubs like Bolton are run amazingly badly but there must be a small percentage of you dids which sees that bury are working on an unsustainable model for a league 1 or even championship club. |

I very much doubt that. Last set of accounts Dale's wage bill was 1.8 million. bury's was over 4 million! So no - he won't be on the same as Bunn because we dont pay players 4-5 grand a week. |  |
