Toozey was on the scene well before 2002 mun! I remember him coming away with us in transit vans as far back as the mid 80's. Well before he'd 'bulked up' mind!
Well if that's the case I stand corrected ( orthopaedic shoes etc ) didn't see much of him till 2002. Mind you he became one of the top boys around that time, I'm certain he had a sabbatical then. Mid 80 's I still had an action man 😂

I spoke with Llyn Phillips about that game and he told me that the info he had was that there would be 30 max travelling down by train and he was there at Plymouth station with a few local plod ready to get us tied up nicely. I'll tell you what happened one of the "ferry boys" spewed up in the back of toozeys cab, he told them pay £50 or clean it up yourselves they agreed to clean it up and when tooz opened the boot to get his clean kit out they attacked him from behind and battered him, if you think that they would of got the better of toozey with a baseball bat you're a fool.

I have always had a lot of respect for taxi drivers and treat them with the utmost courtesy (always gives a tip) and respect. Because they really do have to put up with an absolute load of sh't on the weekend.

Personally speaking, i'm just hoping they don't go knocking on Darrans door looking for them, seeing as he's portrayed them as his mates from 'The Ferry'!
Don't know him, never met him, but judging by what I read in the book - and by the front cover photograph - any reasonable person would take him to be a big-headed, swaggering, obnoxious bully-boy, a nasty intimidator.
