No, I acquired it entirely of my own accord.
I find nothing disgraceful about colourful language. It's there for a purpose, and I use it for that purpose. Words are merely what they are and unlike actions, no-one should feel threatened by them.
I might add - it's used at the highest levels in the professions - I've been there. Not that that makes it right, but simply because colourful language does the job when nothing else will.
btw, who cares what parents teach? Become a person in your own right. Parents aren't always right, in fact, just the opposite. I know, I'm one myself! I'm happy for my offspring to choose to express themselves in whatever way they choose. [Post edited 29 Mar 2016 12:49]
