Sundays and Bank Holidays shut be shut like the Germans. Their economy is apparently stronger than ours. I started working Sundays a couple of years ago and hate it, I miss my traditional Sunday dinner and struggle to catch any of the football. If Sunday hours were extended, I am not going to spend more money. |  |

Not so much for religious reasons , Jobs , but a respite from the endless shopping excesses on a day when provisions can be obtained the previous 6 days 24/7.
One day a week would give families the chance to get to know themselves again. Maybe ,it would refocus people s lives and communities.

Not really worth it as its generally a quiet day of the week but I have to stay open because of contractual reasons...much preferred it when most places were closed on Sunday. | |
