I came back pre dale game, I never mentioned the win until I read some of the drivel on the said game, like I say, it's only a game, we won't see the close season out or was that last close season or the one before? Might be wrong, but under the EPPP rules that operate these days, a club cannot stand in the way of a 15 year old wanting to sign for a Premier League club. There's a set fee to pay based on how many years he's been with the club, so the days of making an offer are long gone, of course, the club could choose to make an offer less than the set fee, but given the pittance needed to sign a 15 year old under these rules, it's not worth doing so. |  | |  |

I think col is roughly correct, basically compensation will be agreed and the player will leave. Day could well have turned down an offer, but it might have been 1k for all you know. It all depends how long the players been at the club. |  |

12 grand a year for kids over u13 is the figure that i thought was the fee payable under eppp unless they had signed a pro contract early.
The club could turn down an offer but if the kid wanted to go it would be pointless standing in their way,though a club could refuse and hold the registration. |  |
