Last 5 times we kept a manager an entire season on 23:14 - Nov 4 with 2982 views | kropotkin41 | One if the problems here is instability. Sacking a manager doesn't address that. When are we going to keep a guy in the job, give him a chance, create some sense of stability, forgive a bad run, a bad season? You'll never find out how great someone's second or third season might have been if suddenly they've got to succeed or be sacked with less than a season under their belt. Situation and mindset stinks.

NB. Correlation does not imply causality. i.e. were they kept on all season because they were doing well, or did they do well because they were kept on all season.
Last 5 times we kept a manager an entire season on 03:18 - Nov 5 with 2818 views | QPR_ARG | Would love to see things under the same light as you, but there have been plenty of evidence of mid-season managerial changes that worked. Even Chelsea won the UCL with an interim manager. Stability is overrated when you see what you have is not working. A far bigger problem for QPR has been to make poor choices when it comes to managers. And then stick with them for far too long. Ramsey suffered the fact we spent too much time before getting rid of Harry (we're still feeling the aftermath of the disaster he's done at W12 and I dare you to make a point of the contrary). I've read several comments about how the problem doesn't lie on the manager (agree the biggest problem is Tony), but I'm yet to see a solid managerial appointment since we got promoted in 2011. We failed to see what other clubs have seen when we were in the Premier League. We looked the opposite way to what most medium-sized and small clubs have been doing: appointing a good, young, solid European/International manager to manage at the most International league there is in the world. See how Bilic, Koeman, Sanchez Flores are doing at their clubs. Now we are in a different league. Warnock has plenty of experience (and success) at this level. Are there any better options out there?
