I think you will find that with the exception of Le Tissier and Shearer all the rest were already full England Internationals which I think is relevant. | | | |

I think Crouch was on the bench for Stoke, in the FA Cup match. Kevin Davies played for Bolton is a pre-season friendly at Spotland, before his England cap.
