Sting is a self-righteous tw*t in the Bono mould. Obviously very talented for sure, but a complete and utter. So he makes the band for me. Or Bill Wyman. But probably Sting.
Had a beer with bill wyman about 20 years ago in his sticky fingers caff, he had what looked suspiciously like lavender dyed Barnet ... He was a great host and very funny.. But, as my brother said at the time, ' a bit hard to take seriously'..... I'd still put Gerry mcavoy in the band...( wouldn't entertain String or Bozo in any band).. You R's.

cant listen to' Gasoline alley' without thinking of my departed Uncle Ray singing this, which was his party piece with my dad on the harmonica who unfortunately insisted on playing the theme tune to the whistle test !
