We're paying him ! he once was a great defender that read the game organized and held the defence for years at the highest level for Man /U and was a leader . Seeing as our defence is as guilty if not more guilty than our attack for our position should he not be given a chance to have an input into coaching the defenders cos lets face it the way they are playing they are nothing short of a shambolic disgrace , Fans hurling abuse at them and them not being honest enough to admit they deserved the abuse at the end of the Hull game , yesterday 3 more defensive howlers , we are a side that always looks like they are on the brink of giving a goal away even when they seem to playing better , surely he could offer something it's got to be worth a shot the defence cant get any worse if we try

Although given how we should have learnt from past mistakes his hiring has been extremely expensive, due to our ill fated attempt to shoehorn him in we lost Simpson for peanuts, have had to rely on a mediocre Isla, have been forced to play Hill at left back 3 years after he was getting tortured at WBA because Traore and Yun are crap. It has cost us more than his obscene wages.

Look I'm not defending him imo his legs are shot but I don't see him worse than any of the others as all have been dropped , even if he is the worse that shouldn't stop him from coaching after all the best managers this country has ever had wer'nt good player Alick Ferguson Bill Shankley Bob Paisley
and some of the best players are the worst coaches, so not really an argument for or against.
we have enough shit coaches already without adding an "I used to be good, look at my medals, this is how i did it" knackered ex-pro.

They all had one thing in common that Ferdinand doesn't have,a brain. Some of the gansta jive garbage that fella spouts on TWITa has to be seen to be believed. He's shit, most fans who supported the signing were hoping he'd have one last season in him,he hasn't. The geezer got done for pace by Crouch,Crouch ffs who was slow 12 years ago when he played for us. Before the Man U away game Redknap was banging on that Ferdinand was still good enough for them yet dropped him a couple of games later. He's barely an improvement on his useless brother. Him and Redknap can fcuk right off.

'come september, when rio's back is finally put out of its misery ,we will have to find him a role in the community of vibrant young talent in acton, .shepherds bush etc etc among the congolese/afghan/chad/somalian community.
pay him 90 grand a week to reach out to the estranged youth to play a game of soccer in front of that gormless cu nt dan walker on football focus once a year. i can just see it now.
"and now down to loftus road where a recently retired from playing rio ferdinand has been commissioned by qpr to team up with jason roberts and paul elliot to launch an extraordinary urban initiative to find the first premiership player from eirtrea among the post gangs of hounslow".

I wouldn't blame Ferdinand for all that, thats down to the manager. Also don't think Yun and Isla are poor, both decent players

Rio FERDINAND ~ OPINIONS PREVIOuSLY expressed on this thread ~ An unqualified fulsome apology ~ ___________________________________________________________________
Just come off the blower after speaking to my oldest friend - nearer 40 years than 35 - sometime guv'nor and lifelong C***ski fan, although he sure as hell ain't got a CFC screensaver..more like his (tasty) Mrs and (dozy) son.
He said he'd watched QPR on MotD, and it was clear for all to see the defence was a pitiful laughing stock.
I mentioned a bit of the backstory: how we'd signed this 6ft fast young Steven Caulker late of Spuds and picked for an England squad with high hopes and strong recommendations, and thought this might be the season 27 year old Ned Onuoha in his preferred position of centre rather than right-back finally looked comfortable in the Prem for us,as he did once or twice for Man City and Mackems. Then there's the Chilean world cup wing/right back Mauricio Islas and a promising South Korean Yun Suk-Young who also didn't look out of place at the last World Cup finding his feet. Richard Dunne fingers crossed had a final good season in him after doing so much to get us up and then the cherry-on-top would be Rio as much to guide, coach and mentor - a la Wilkins with Sir Les - as to play.
My mate spluttered..he told me to catch onto myself.. any fool would know Rio Ferdinand was knackered, kaput,no longer fit-for-purpose...once a back goes,it's gone for ever (ask Gerry Francis who has to this day,now aged 64,to stick to tedious morning stretching regime to ward off chronic back pain), and in short Rio was an utterly utterly ridiculous purchase. Even relatively limited, humble journeymen Rangers rejects such as Damien Delaney and Danny Gabbidon - (a season or two back actually for DG) are currently up to doing a better job than Rio at the Prem level.
Suddenly light dawned in me big cavernous empty echoing noggin. My two previous posts didn't actually support the buying of RF outright but By Lord Haw-Haw's traitorous bum, they did make allowances...
He's right, you're all right - nearly everyone on this thread and probably in our whole crowdbase are all.. correct... He was a terrible, terrible, terrible saw-QPR-and-Harry-coming... have-we-learnt-nothing-trousers-pulled-down-again-and-again purchase and what with him currently holding nil/nada/zero coaching badges and with his numerous time-consuming punditry, book, casino and twittering engagements he deserves no part in our backroom staff in the future.
If I were to see the twisted mouth Peckham millionaire handing out fliers to his casino and 50% off vouchers for his bargain bin autobiography on the Shepherd's Bush streets I'd shout at him " OI RIO,NO!" effect a citizen's arrest and frog-march him down to Shepherd's Bush Green and before the ever-present False Filth (AKA Community Constables) could react - hang him from the top of the kid's slide. I think at the end of the day that's the only fair, kind, merciful, considered and proportionate thing to do.

Just bumping up the long and verbose post above ^^^^^^ now it's been painstakingly edited, redacted, corrected, clarified and amplified to mine and I hope other LFW punters' satisfaction.
Truly I say unto you, better it is for one sinner that repenteth than it is for an entire legion or flock of incontinent seagulls to shit on Jose Mourinho's head, amen.
Feel free to show me the LFW love by clicking the ^ button.

Just heard that Thierry Henry stated that he would come out of retirement to play for us - If he could continue with his job at Sky.
We are a laughing stock.
That pissed me off too. We're struggling at the bottom, no money to spend, the money that was spent was wasted, and they are all having a jolly good laugh in the studio. Fk off.
