Pity he couldn't build on his initial promise, but probably time he left now. Him and a couple of others.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Good to Alfei is learning his trade well -

>>>thought he was having his best game for us, and then their second goal, uncontested near post header from a free kick and he never moved. So basic<<<

Sounds like he's well grounded in our defensive strategy

Dont blame the player, swans gave him a 3 year contract when he was already 21 - which means the professional judgement at the time was that he would be a Premier League player. I guess we will see.

Great encouragement for three of our young players lads, well done.

Agree with the sentiment and its not the players fault, but part of the issue - at least - is that these players are simply not that young any more.

They're hardly experienced either though are they? I'm not saying they shouldn't be criticised, but at least try to be a little bit constructive instead of some of the throwaway comments on this thread which appear to revel in the disposal of younger/less experienced players

The only person to use the term disposal is you.

You don't think the terms "send them Jazz Richards" and the reply of "Dhelvey too" don't refer to getting rid of players then?

Encourage on the internet all you like - it won't turn a shite player into a good one.

Guys, why the negativity against these young players??? Over the years playing in the lower leagues, how many loan players have we watched and been pretty unimpressed with but they still went on to bigger and better things.

Now these guys may never be good enough to play for Swansea but they probably will somewhere.

These aren't YTS lads or first year pros getting released. These are people 4/5 years into their professional careers and not at the level we need them to be. No room for sentiment. Sorry.

If they're good enough they'll make it elsewhere. They won't be the first and they wouldn't be the last.

Good point. When lampard came to us not one person in the whole world would have thought he would crack the prem league and become the 4 th highest goal scorer, though it has to be said that fank was around 17 yrs old and was holding his own.

The likes of alfei had some decent games for us, its one ofthose where playing with better players will improve him but its difficult to now drop him into our team, almost a catch 22 situation.

Hopefully we will get safe and monk can put a few young players in like barrow and kenji gore etc

I do feel that alfei has perhaps missed the boat but you never know in football, laudrup saw something in ben davies that the others didnt have so maybe they just aint up to it? Its a difficult thing to asses.

Players get hoofed out of clubs all the time and make it, look t our own dean saunders ,the list is endless .
