You buy a basic kit and then add extra bits to it like door contacts or an auto dialler if you want them. Both comply with the necessary British Standard and B&Q or Homebase usually carry stocks of one or the other. All very straightgorward to fit. Bad luck about the burglary tho! Happy shopping.

Wireless burglar alarms on 17:27 - Oct 3 with 3611 views | onetimejack | Texecom ricochet is the best you can get, a tad expensive though, I would recommend a visonic alarm though if your going down the wireless route, about 130 quid, comes with 4 pirs 2 door contacts and a bell box, it also has a built in dialler which you can program to dial your mobile if the alarm is activated.

Just found a Texecom at this link for a full kit for £209 http://www.coditech.co.uk/texecom-premier-elite-12-w-ricochet-complete-wireless- Are there any places that supply this alarm or the Visonic locally at a reasonable price?

Noticed the 'response' one on sale in B&Q today, think the kit they had was £105ish

Wireless burglar alarms on 08:20 - Oct 4 with 3474 views | onetimejack | The only problem with the Texecom is the cost for extra pirs, 56 quid each. I buy the visonic from a supplier in Cardiff as i fit alarms and cctv for a living, I can pm you the name of the supplier and you can try and get it delivered if you want? I personally wouldn't bother with the B and Q alarms, I've not heard many good things about them.

| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.
