Riga and Charlton 09:38 - Aug 21 with 2014 views911_Kirky

How long did it take him to turn things around at Charlton? They were in free fall and he stopped the rot and played some damned good stuff with some average players..... remember the last game of the season?

I like Riga and I hope he can start chalking up some points! Starting Saturday.....

It only took 2-3 games for results to start picking up, but then he was working with a team who were fully fit, and had been playing together for some time. That's the big difference.

You've got to feel for the guy - sorting players, arranging contracts. Scouting reports on opposition, tactics, getting players fit - and when it does look like we might get something stupid mistakes and daft goals. Don't expect much until after the international break!

Poll: Would you play Nile Ranger from the start against Reading?
