Matthew Tipton scored his first goal for Dundalk at the weekend in their 1-1 draw with UCD. Tipton was released by the Silkmen at the end of last season and after an unsuccessful trial at Bradford he hopped over to Ireland.
Tipton started the game wearing the number 10 shirt and went close in the early stages hitting the bar from a header. UCD took the lead on 29 minutes but it was Tippy who equalised deep into first half stoppage time.
