Howe Proud Of His Players

Eddie Howe must be wondering just how his side can win games after watching them dominating once again but failing to get the result that they deserved.

Our visitors today threw about a two goal advantage to only draw with us but they can certainly feel aggrieved that they did not get the result that their domination deserved especially given the penalty decision that bought us level.

It was a familiar tale for Bournemouth who are being credited for playing well week in week out but are not getting the results that will secure their Premier League safety next May.

Far from being downbeat though manager Eddie Howe was proud of his players at the end of the game as he explained to the watching media

"I’m very proud of the players,” reflected Howe. "I thought we were excellent right from the start. The only disappointment is that when you go two goals up, you expect to win.

"Swansea had two chances after we went a goal ahead, and then scored after our second, which is perhaps the only disappointment.

"The result is all-important, but I’m very pleased with the players.”
