Injury brings Logan's loan to end

The loan spell of Conrad Logan has been brought to a premature end, following an injury picked up in the fifth minute of Saturday's controversial game with Notts County.

Whilst the full extent of the injury is not yet known, it has been described as being "serious" by the club and is expected to keep him out of the game for some time.

Logan himself tweeted after the game:

A sad way to end my time @officiallydale I loved ever minute and wish them all the best.ill work hard and hopefully make a full recovery 🙏🙏

The loan had been an incredibly successful one and Logan has won a number of plaudits for his performances for the club during this time. It will be noted for the three successive penalty saves, and his outstanding display in the closing minutes at Aldershot where he single handedly kept the club in the Cup.

Ironically, our previous loan goalkeeper Peter Kurucz also had his loan spell cut short following an injury sustained against Notts County, though in Logan's case the injury wasn't the fault of any Notts player.
