Grimes the Shaker
A last minute change of heart has seen Ashley Grimes reject a switch to Cheltenham and has instead signed a two year deal with Bury.
The former Man City trainee had reportedly struck a verbal agreement with Cheltenham Town and had been expected at the first day of their pre-season training today.
However, he failed to show and it was announced that he had signed a two year deal at Gigg Lane. During his time with Dale, he had scored four goals in just three appearances against Bury.
Grimes was released from Spotland last month.
