Kennedy wins Player of the Season

Jason Kennedy and Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro were the main winners at the club's annual Awards Evening at a packed out Dale Bar.

Kennedy walked away with four different trophies on the night after impressing throughout what has been an otherwise disappointing season for the club - a remarkable turnaround given that he wasn't even assure of a place in the starting eleven early in the year.

Equally, Akpa Akpro won his award despite not always being in the starting eleven over the season. The Frenchman scored eight goals throughout the campaign, including two in his last two games.

The goal of the season was won by Andrew Tutte for his injury time thunderbolt at Huddersfield.

Tipton On Fire
Ex Silkmen striker Matthew Tipton has been in superb form over the past few weeks for Dundalk.  A couple of weeks ago he hit his first hat-trick for the club.

SST Coach To Crewe
The SST hope to run a coach to Crewe Alexandria on Tuesday 28 Sep 2010 dependent on numbers.  Seat prices will be £7 for SST members and £12 for non SST members. For the coach to run at these seat prices a minimum of 35 people must have booked seats.
