If only we could play for 90 minutes like the last 15 minutes, happy for Tall Paul but this was to little to late.Aribo has been getting better and better so that’s a plus and at times we look good but not good enough at other times.

Men against boys first half. It looked as if we were in for a thrashing. However, a much more spirited when we brought the subs on (excepting Smallbone). Sulemana , Ugohcukwu and Onuachu all showed that they should have started. Fought hard last 30 minutes and almost snatched a draw at the end with a goal bound effort cleared off the line. Forest cheated like heck falling over at every opportunity.

For the first 60 minutes there was no organisation at the back No engine in the m/f and the attack was blunt All down to the selection
We only got on terms when they made their substitutions, which did for them, what ours did for us at Old Trafford
Where do we go from here?
We could sell everyone we can get a fee for and start from scratch or keep most of them and trust that they can get us promoted next season We would then need to do a Forrest and buy a bus full of players hoping that they could collectively keep us up
I don't think the Godfather is even close to being the answer. Let's be honest his only idea is that we should kick them more ie cheat

Manager said it right - our inability to put together a 90 minute performance is costing us dearly, even though there are green shoots of improvement there. We should have got something off Man U and gave ourselves a fighting chance against Forest. Today, props to KWP and Aribo and to subs Lesley, Sulemana and Tall Paul.

A baffling match. Horrible first half with Downes lucky to stay on the pitch and Forest ruthless with us. I thought we were lucky with both var decisions, but then ended with a properly rousing finale that could have earned an unlikely draw and again gives hope for better things to come.

The double A battery pack of Armstrong and Archer always ends in defeat, I can't bear to see this combination again.

The improvement in Big Les, Aribo and Sulemana is impressive.

Will the tall Paul goal open the floodgates? We can only hope.

I prefer these defeats under Juric (except the Brentford one) to the utter borefest under Martin, but sadly they are still defeats.

On the one hand, we should have closed down shots/crosses on all three of the goals against. On the other, the first two weren't high xG strikes. So in some ways Forest made the most of luck. Despite our flailing about in the first half, if those first two goals don't go in perhaps we eventually win the match comfortably. We're still relegation fodder. But at least there could be some excitement in what remains of the season. In sum, over the last two matches there have been some encouraging spells in which we're at least learning that, with the right tutelage, perhaps some of our players are EPL quality after all.

Dreadful first half. Awful. Second half big improvement and so close to equalising. Great goal line clearance from Forest defender. Ramsdale had a really poor game.

The fact that there have been encouraging spells suggests that there's some potential to build on—maybe just lacking consistency or tactical discipline. https://geoguessrunlimited.org
