Dale’s home game against Barnet on Saturday will be refereed by WILLIAM DAVIS.

The Salford-based chartered physiotherapist is in his first season refereeing in the National League and Saturday is his 13th appointment at this level and his second at Spotland, as back in August, William was in the middle for Dale’s comfortable 3-0 home win over Woking.

He started this campaign on 10th August refereeing Oldham v AFC Fylde and his 12 matches have yielded 40 yellow cards and one red card.

He was most recently at Halifax v Boston last Saturday.
