I didn’t realise until checking, the current clean sheet ranking is Goodman (17), Macey (15) and Sam Walker (13). We must have a good eye for goalkeepers. |

In Robbie's interview he did stress he still owns the M&T facility, which the new owners have a 2 year option to buy, so he has that security blanket if he needs it. I think he also owns Florence Park, which can be sold for housing for a tidy sum if needs be, so I think he's okay tbh. Assuming he will eventually sell up, because all things always come to an end, I have no doubt he'll sell for the right price and only if it's a good deal for Colchester United. However, from the little I know of Robbie from personal experience, I'm certain he's going to want to remain in charge to see where the Cowley experience takes us. |

Always the U's Gerry, though I have spent the evening sharing text messages with Spireite Craig. Great result, and definitely deserved, but it was a scrappy difficult game for much of it. Tbh, I was glad to see the back of Madden, always seems to be a thorn in our side usually. On to Cheltenham on Saturday, and revenge for that cup exit. |

Yep, ten league games at Stadium MK, plus two more at the National Hockey Stadium. Parky did win an EFL Trophy game at the National Hockey Stadium as well. I don't like going to MKD, never liked the idea of funding a franchise, so I've only been once before, for our other league victory under John McGreal in 2018. Maybe I should go more often? To say the 30,500 seater stadium was an ambitious build is a massive understatement. It's actually designed to accommodate a third tier, to give a capacity of 45,000, if needed. They've never even got close to filling it (not for a league football match that is), the best being just over 2/3rds full against Bolton in 2017. Even during their one season in the Championship back in 2015/16, they only averaged just over 13,000 per match. |

Big-hearted Frank Nouble scored the second as Yeovil fought back against the ‘weed to go 2-1 in front. Sadly, the game finished 2-2 with a Southend equaliser deep in added time. |

That’s odd, because I heard one steward tell a father and son that seats were basically unallocated and to sit wherever they wanted to. You’re right, given the stadium was nearly 3/4 empty, why pen the U’s supporters into a section with barely enough seats for all of them. Btw, I found my seat row, but couldn’t for the life of me see any seat numbers anywhere? |

1,330 U’s fans there yesterday. We were in control for most of the first half, without really getting into top gear. MK changed things around for the second half, which was a much more even affair. I didn’t spot the handball at the game, most of us weren’t even sure a penalty had been awarded, but it was clear as day on the highlights. Although they will, the franchise should have no complaints about either the penalty or the red card. Also, the catering facilities seemed a bit unprepared for the numbers, and ran out of hot food at halftime. |

I have to agree, Anderson is a pretty solid player as far as I'm concerned. He doesn't have the pace of Edwards on the other side, but I don't get why he gets the hate. Maybe as you said, he's the next target after Tom Hopper left? Who wasn't a bad footballer btw. |

...and of course Noah Chilvers on the losing side, though he was subbed a minute before St Johnstone scored the winning goal. |

Whilst applauding that Matt Macey is no. 2 in the league for clean sheets, it would be churlish not to mention that former U's 'keeper Owen Goodman is no. 1. |

Frankie Kent is injured. Ruptured his quad playing against Copenhagen in December, and is likely to be out for some time. |

Over 1,000 tickets already sold, and there's still two days to go, and presumably pay on the day for anyone who decides last minute to travel. That must be our largest away following this season, or am I forgetting anything? Much as I hate giving that scummy bunch any of my hard-earned, I'll be there. [Post edited 26 Feb 18:54]

Well he hung on longer than I expected, but Nigel Adkins has finally been let go by Tranmere following their home defeat against Accy Stanley last night. They are now just two points clear of the drop, and with the worst GD in the league. |
