Why continue to do something you don’t like doing?
If you enjoy turning up week after week to watch your team get hammered then that’s up to you.
I can watch the game on my sofa and only lose 2 hours of my free time being pissed off and then I am able to do something I enjoy doing.
When the clowns who own the club do something positive then maybe I’ll return.
The signing yesterday and the incoming signing of Kamara made my decision for me.
Shopping at the basement again.
Look at the manager they’ve got in. A freebie. 5 games, 5 losses. Might as well of stuck with Martin.
Instead of paying £5m for Danny Rohl they’ve gone cheap now they are buying some Tier 2 level midfielders.
Good luck to those who continue on to go, if you still like it then great! Carry on.
I’m not going to criticise you for going or those who don’t go.
I won’t do something I don’t enjoy at weekends.
And for the losing money on my ticket, I’m actually saving money by not travelling!!

£5m to get Danny Rohl in hopefully to be here until he moves on to bigger things (meaning he’s been successful) or buying another central midfielder for £10m.

Consolidation in The Championship is the aim next season.
Sport Republic’s quest to turn Southampton FC from a lower half Premier League club to a mid table Championship club hit the buffers with that unwanted win at Wembley.
We are now back on track to join the ex Tier 1 crew floundering in Tier 2.
QPR, Swansea, Stoke, Norwich, Swansea, Derby, Hull hold on we’re coming to join the party!!

Juric is turning out to be an odd appointment.
We don’t know wether he will be here at the start of next season.
Is he just a caretaker?
Could he become the first (I’m guessing) Southampton manager to have a 0% League win record?

The game plan worked a treat!
3-0 down after 41 minutes and not a shot on goal from the starting forwards for the 58 minutes they were on.
Only when the subs came on after 58 minutes did we pose any kind of threat.
Sulemana, Onuachu and Manning came on, 2 minutes later we scored.
Juric has time on his side before the fans start on him but for the love of god play your best players and don’t play players out of position.
A Left footed player at Left Wing Back and a Centre Back at Centre Back. Bree is a Right Back. |

Yesterday he played a Right Back at Left Back (KWP), a Right Back at Centre Back (Bree) whilst Wood and Bella-Kotchap sat on the bench, dropped Ugochukwu for Downes who himself seemed to be on a mission to be sent off. Ugochukwu replaced Downes at half time.
Sulemana was dropped, apparently tired?
The most ineffective front two of Armstrong and Archer started who both mustered zero shots between them for the 58 minutes they were on the pitch.
I’m no great fan of Onuachu but he is the best we have as a target man and he needs to start up front at least to be a ‘menace’.
I can’t see where Juric is going to get us a point from.
Another odd managerial appointment from Sport Republic.
At least Nathan Jones won a game. |
