The stand behind the person taking the photo would have to be full for the crowd to be even 7000. That turnout is utterly embarrassing. |

'Referees will award a corner to the opposition if a goalkeeper holds on to the ball for too long, under a new system being considered by football’s lawmakers.' Just saw this. Hopefully something is done. I can't stand watching their time wasting while the ref does nothing. |

Cullen is looking so much better currently. We all know he can't do the CF job (to be fair we never expected him to,he was just filling in as the best option at the time) but as a 10 his head is up looking for the next pass immediately. |

The worst example of this passing back for no reason yesterday was Ben. Around the 80th minute the ball was passed to him on the right. There was no one near him, there was 30 yards of open pitch for him to move forward but instead he turned and passed it back. That's not to say he had a bad game, it's just the most blatant, single example of not needing to pass back I can think of. Tymon was always closed down very quickly probably because they know he can deliver excellent crosses so at least it's understandable then for him doing it. |

'He receives a substantial remuneration to persuade individuals like you that electric vehicles represent the future and are the ultimate solution for a sustainable world.' A strange response mangohilljack. I can only think that you didn't understand what I intended with the post. As I said, I know very little about the ins and outs of electric cars and whether they are good or bad. But in order to understand I listen to and read what others say and come to a conclusion based on that and my own findings. The point of my post was to let others know what Greg Jackson said in order for them to do the same. I'm not taking what he says as fact but am willing to consider it. |

Correct major. It's linked to the global price of gas. I don't understand why. As renewables are generated in the UK for the UK and not sold on the global market the link, as far as I understand it, could be removed by the Government. I don't understand why they don't do that. |

Another well said from me as well. |

I know very little about electric cars and batteries. But Greg Jackson, the CEO of Octopus Energy, explained some very interesting things on QT last Thursday. EV batteries now last for 600,000 miles. When they are due for renewal they can either be recycled or used in your home as a storage facility. People always ask what will happen when the wind doesn't blow. Apparently they can store almost a weeks worth of the power needed to run your home. He also talked about interconnectors between different countries so that when the wind doesn't blow in the UK there will always be another country where it is blowing. But as the UK is one of the windiest countries in the world there shouldn't be so much of a problem. A number of you have mentioned China. And everyone talks about China opening coal powered power stations all the time so what's the point of us even making an effort carbon wise. According to GJ last year China built 59% of all renewables in the world and many of those coal power stations are being mothballed. And the reason they are doing it is because they know that renewables are cheaper now than fossil fuel power. And they are doing it not because they are nice people but because it benefits them. And as a result they will be even more competitive in years to come. As I said, I know almost nothing about this subject. But i'm willing to listen to people like him because he would know far more I would bet than anyone on this forum and most other forums. |

Me again wr. I went down to County Hall to look at the expansion development plans that were drawn up probably ten years ago now. They showed a three side wraparound (South/East/North). |

I seem to remember wr this coming up while we were in the PL so this story in 2022 is different. The story does actually say that the Swans own the land. I take from that they mean the Club and not the council. If that is the case then it's a valuable asset if they were approached by someone looking to buy it for a hotel development. |

A rather different take on the more prominent role Tyler Morse might take. He runs the third largest hotel chain in America and has already branched out into the UK with buying the BT Tower as the OP says. It is known that there is a shortage of hotel rooms in Swansea and at one time there was talk of a hotel being built on the land behind the South Stand. If that was to happen how might it benefit the Club ? |

Franco had been flattened twice. It's impossible for us to know how much that affected him and with the next game just three days away maybe it made sense to sub him. We would definitely want him to start against Derby. My big question about yesterday is what on earth is the point of Ronald ? He seems to have lost everything that was good from last season. And Peart-Harris was only marginally better. |

I was wondering what the difference is with other clubs Dr. We've been told that we now have one of the lowest playing budgets in the Championship. Which means that all the teams above us in the spend table have a higher budget so are spending more. Quite a few have PL parachute money but many others don't. So aren't all of them breaking P&S rules ? Cardiff for one. A few extra thousand on the gates won't make up the difference. |
