I can't make Newcastle for personal reasons, but i'm going to every game in February. To be honest i'm kind of numb to football in general these days, we as supporters have lost. The game was bought and sold as entertainment to others, our opinions and culture don't matter to them, we know how they think of most of us here, we're "legacy fans". So like others i'll enjoy seeing my friends and family, take pride from my city and frankly hate the game itself. The sooner the whole house of cards collapses the better, i'll hopefully still be here after, but the c*nts that run it, the plastics that cheerlead it and the TV companies that ruined it won't be. |

I believe he's the mortal enemy of Danger Mouse and a villainous toad who's determined to rob the bank of England |

I don't think i've ever been in the lower tier since they moved the away end from the side. Saying that it's a damn slight better than when you were half a mile from the pitch with cars in front of you like it was when i first went |

Logged in to pick mine up about 10am and most of the top tier was gone, was really surprised about that given it's midweek and we're going to get shafted. Saying that the top tier is always more popular at Chelsea because if memory serves they don't serve alcohol in the lower tier because it "has views of the pitch" |

Pantomime soccer am BANTZ sung by the sort of dinlows that sing about libraries. Those songs genuinely make me want to stand in silence. I actually got a bit pissy with some around us singing about the championship tour when we went down last time because i was f*cking angry about it and thought it was humiliating to go down the way we did (little did i know eh?) so hearing others have a laugh about it was embarrassing to me |

I think i hate that follow song even more than the allez one, though i don't think anything annoys me more than the Aribo/Gold song. Not because it's crap, but because for some reason no one sings JOE, instead they sing OH, i mean his name literally fits the gap perfectly yet they still don't do it. Also fair play to any of you fools heading up today, would've actually loved to have gone myself as Manchester is the best city in the north for pubs by an absolute country mile, and mancs are decent people (and unlike Liverpool you get far less tourists at United). But sadly i didn't have enough annual leave from work left to do it. I imagine everyone will be really excited to see the Manchester Water Feature (tm) at Old Trafford tonight, i've heard it's quite the sight |
| Forum Reply | Have we lost in our pink kit this season? at 17:26 15 Jan 2025
I'm surprised our fans haven't been up in arms about playing in the traditional portsmouth colours of pink. Given that historically pink was their main colour and their team nickname - prior to adopting pompey - of The Shrimps, was a reference to their pink kit, i'd have thought our fans would've had none of it. Also i don't know why they dropped the name The Shrimps as it feels very fitting for them |

I actually have a working theory we're partly responsible for it sadly, and as much as i hate the use of the scouse song it definitely borrows from us moaning on social media people didn't reference the clubs history enough. I did have a chuckle though when we played Spurs and our fans sang "we sing our songs", then instantly followed it up by singing Allez Allez. Self awareness is not a strong point in THE NORTHAM WAILING WALL |

my main problem is that it's factually incorrect, the chapel wasn't added to st mary's church until 1886, a year after Southampton football club was formed. So therefor it was started in a boys club associated with the church and not the chapel, making the entire song TECHNICALLY WRONG, and as we all know veracity is the most important part of football songs. I’ll be honest I’d rather see Bournemouth in europe than one of the usual money clubs, at least it’s interesting seeing a different side there for once |

Our group brought this back pre covid mostly to deeply confused looks from younger fans who couldn’t work out why we hated Nottingham forest. |

To be honest looking at people around me there i'd say most have just given up, it's not even spiky, people are literally just waiting for us to lose now. |
| Forum Reply | No more Kraft!! at 15:44 14 Jan 2025
I can only assume that Kraft has been asked to leave due to his complete and utter incompetence at delivering THE FIVE PLEDGES. Another board member rightfully forced out due to their lack of action on the pledges, hopefully any new person coming in will make it a priority and actually deliver them so we can move forward. |
