I think what Harry is doing is tactical. We don't have a lot of depth in the squad and we don't have the most talented squad either. I think he is getting them to play hard in games that we have a good chance of winning rather than play hard against the big boys. Get the 3 points on the likes of Sunderland etc. Rather than play hard and lose to the Man utds and tottenhams but give a good account of ourselves and then find we have key players injured for a few months with no one to fill their place.
The big picture is to stay in the premier league. I'm happy to see us lose to the big teams that we will struggle to beat if it means we increase considerably our chance of premiership survival
Personally, I felt we had a pretty weak pre-season fixture list which didn't do anything to prepare the team against a top premiership team. Tottenham had a pretty tough looking pre-season fixture line up by comparison and have basically hit the ground running. We were second to everything because we were not prepared enough. I dont believe this team is as bad as the scoreline suggests.
