Thanks for your responses, on reflection I can think of more interesting and enjoyable stuff to do with my time than an MP MRI prostate scan.
I read that Prostate cancer rarely carries off us males although quite probably most of us might have it at death it is unlikely to completely account for our end, with heart felt apologies to those who are suffering from it. |

Anyone here had a Multi Parametric Magnetic Resonance Image scan?
Had a private PSA test done about three years or so ago, but read that it is not necesarily as accurate as one might imagine, for a variety of different reasons. See columist Dr Mark Porter in The Times.
I gather that an MP MRI is a much better guide, sadly my GP is unable to offer me an NHS scan so I'm considering forking out for a private scan. Any advice? I'm not bothered that it will be noisy or uncomfotable in any way as I've already had several MRI's some years ago, its more the result accuracy that interests me  |

A while ago, The Northwood Hills Hotel, Elton used to play there with his piano strategically placed to escape any trouble by exiting through the window. George Hill the landlord gave us £10 to find another pub :)
